Despite the economic climate, the online retailers have continued to grow and as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of mirrors, have recently moved premises into a much larger warehouse with increased office space. Managing Director Stuart Morgan said “The big move happened over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We had simply outgrown our old warehouse and as our team of employees was also expanding we needed a solution that catered for both. We literally moved into a larger warehouse space opposite the old one! When I first launched Exclusive Mirrors back in 2005, I can remember how exciting it was to purchase our first premises that was purely stand alone and not sharing space with other organisations. I used to stand proud in the warehouse looking across the street and promised myself that one day I would be making that move – I can hardly believe that in such a short space of time I am actually living that dream.” As part of the warehouse move, Exclusive Mirrors commissioned a team of local builders to install a mezzanine floor within the space, which now houses their busy head office team.  During the move the company also changed its name to Exclusive Interiors, Stuart explains the thoughts behind this “I have a bit of a silly saying that I try to live my business life by and that is ‘if you are ever going to be big, you need to think big’. So as well as the much larger premises which allows for future growth, I decided that developing the ‘Exclusive’ brand portfolio was also a fantastic opportunity for growth. 2012 is going to be an exciting year for us as we concentrate on always improving our product and service offering for Exclusive Mirrors, but also begin to venture out into other related business streams” The company does not currently have a shop or a showroom and is purely an online retailer; a factor that Exclusive Mirrors believes has contributed to their success, keeping their costs down, with savings that they pass on to their customers.
